Our Success Is Your Success…
Because of the generous support of families and Business Partners in 2022-2023, The Friends of Hendricks was able to award more than $84,000 in grants to Hendricks Avenue Elementary School.
Grants to the school included funding for Reflex Math, classroom resources / hands-on materials, general school supplies / administrative needs, teacher professional development, and Leader In Me teacher training and membership. Friends of Hendricks was also able to start the process of covering the basketball courts with a shade structure to be used during PE and other various school activities! Our hope is to be able to fund the second half of the project with our fundraising this year.
All gifts, no matter how large or small, had a meaningful impact because YOU became invested in the education and enrichment of every child, faculty, and staff member.

Hugs from Henry Birthday Club
Enroll your K – 5th grader in the “Hugs from Henry” Birthday Club! Every birthday girl and boy will receive the following:
Attendance to a cupcake party the month of your child’s birthday *
A special birthday gift from Henry
A photo op and picture with Henry to be delivered electronically by email or text*
Walkathon
Coming February 2025
Walkathon is The Friends of Hendricks’ largest annual fundraiser. We work together with friends, families, and business partners to raise money. These donations support Hendricks Avenue Elementary in the form of grants.

Spirit Nights
It’s as easy as treating the kids (and yourself!) to yogurt, ice cream, or having a taco with other HAE families. Your participation in HAE Spirit Nights makes a difference in our school

Rent one – or both!- of our school’s spirit rocks to celebrate birthdays, accomplishments, cheer on a friend, or recognize a teacher!
Business Partners
The Friends of Hendricks Business Partner Program encourages partnerships between Hendricks Avenue Elementary and our local businesses and corporations. As an integral part of our community, we invite businesses to join our Business Partner Program. Your support can help ensure a quality education for the students of Hendricks Avenue Elementary School. In turn, you will gain valuable visibility to over 700 students and their San Marco families. Your support through our business partner program will strengthen the legacy of the culture of excellence of Hendricks Avenue Elementary.
